Abstract

The rapid adoption of cloud-native applications has transformed enterprise integration from static point-to-point communication toward dynamic, API-driven ecosystems capable of supporting distributed services, microservices, serverless workloads, and hybrid-cloud environments. However, increasing application complexity introduces challenges involving API security, scalability, service discovery, traffic management, interoperability, observability, and intelligent workload coordination. This paper proposes a Cloud Native Intelligent API Orchestration Framework designed to provide secure, scalable, adaptive, and automated integration across heterogeneous enterprise applications. The framework combines API gateways, microservices orchestration, service discovery, policy-based security, intelligent routing, real-time monitoring, and machine-learning-assisted decision mechanisms. The methodology adopts a layered architecture consisting of API access, orchestration, intelligence, security, integration, observability, and cloud infrastructure layers. Experimental evaluation is proposed using performance, scalability, security, reliability, latency, throughput, resource utilization, and fault-recovery metrics. The framework aims to dynamically select services, optimize request routing, detect anomalous API behavior, and automatically adapt resources according to workload conditions. By integrating intelligent orchestration with cloud-native principles, the proposed approach can reduce integration complexity while improving API availability, security, operational efficiency, and scalability. The research demonstrates a practical direction for building resilient enterprise integration platforms capable of supporting continuously evolving digital business environments.
